Emotional Freedom Techniques - EFT
It has been some time now that I've developed an interest in an interesting healing modality called EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). This is somewhat unique modality both in its technique and in its uses.
First the use. As the name implies, EFT has a lot to do with the emotions. The main goal of EFT is to replace regular psychotherapy. Actually, as Gary Craig, the founder of EFT writes in the EFT manual , he was looking for a way to replace years of little effective psychotherapy with some easy and quick technique to help people with their emotional problems. EFT is effective when dealing with a lots of emotional issues, such as fears and phobias, trauma and abuse and also physical issues, since many of them come from emotional sources, like blood pressure, headaches, diabetes and more (click on the links to go to testimonial pages on the EFT website).
Applying EFT on migraine headache
There's now an update at the end about a later event
I have only recently received the EFT videotapes but I have already applied and seen its effect.
Two days ago I was watching the instructional video and then the videos from the 2nd DVD of the basic course set. Seeing the how in amazingly simple way complex problems are treated is almost unbelievable. But the very next day I've got my own opportunity to apply EFT.
Yesterday my wife has got her 'next' migraine attack. This time it was very severe, much stronger than the usual ones. So she called me at work and I left to help her. She's only started getting migraines less than a year ago, but it is very annoying and we found ourselves several times already in a medical center where she got shot with a drug to ease off the pain.
When I arrived home I found her vomiting in the bathroom. She often vomits when she has strong migraines. She couldn't stand on her feet so I grabbed her into our room and laid her down on the bed. After grabbing her attention, I told her that I'll try something new with her this time and that it may seem a bit unusual technique.

Acupressure points guide
Since some of the articles on this site relate to the practice of treating health issues with acupressure (and I strongly believe that it helps), I wanted to share a great on-line resource that I’ve recently found which can help you fulfill your interest in this technique and help treat your problems.
The Stanford University’s website contains an online application which lists and displays which acupressure points should be applied according to a specific problem you might have with your body.

Remote viewing video
The website of Cognitive Sciences Laboratory has an amazing video aired on the National TV which show a Remote Viewing (RV) session done in a TV program using a scientific protocol.
The video is of very high quality and first introduces a man, who has had a near death experience (NDE) in his life, after which he started to possess very strong ESP abilities, including occasional telepathy and remote viewing capabilities.

Restore eyesight to normal
I wear eyeglasses. My vision started to deteriorate at about the age of 11 but I only started wearing eyeglasses at the age of 17 when I had to drive. I’m shortsighted (around 1.75) and also have some astigmatism (I don’t know and don’t understand the numbers of it).
I know people who succeeded to improve and restore their eyesight by themselves, without any surgery. Most of these people used a system developed by a Russian self-healing teacher of Uzbek origin Mirzakarim Norbekov. His system envelopes the whole psychology and health of a human being and improving eyesight is only one of the applications of his teachings. The reasons that many people try to restore they eyesight using his technique are:
- Norbekov’s first book, where he presented the origins and explanations of his system was using eyesight restoration as its example and had specific instructions for this.
- Many people don’t have perfect vision and thus tried his technique to improve it. Moreover, most, if not all, eye doctors will tell you that it’s impossible to restore vision back to normal, especially if you have astigmatism.

A cool mind-body trick to learn
A friend of mine has shown me how one can operate his body better by thinking differently.
She has proposed to play a game: I took a small coin and put it on my open palm on the waist level. She held her hand above mine about a foot or a little more. Now it seemed to be a simple game of reflexes: I had to close my palm before she could grab the coin from my hand.
She first done it in a regular way (as she put it) and I had no problem closing my hand first, when I saw her hand starting to descend. Then she said she’ll use another technique. This time her hand moved so quickly that I didn’t have a chance closing my hand first and she took the coin.

Discussions
Good day, dear readers.
First of all, I’m really overwhelmed by the popularity of the acupressure technique to relieve nasal congestion that I’ve posted. It’s interesting that I’ve known it for almost all of my life but only a few days ago when my wife has had one and I explained her how to perform it (and the immediate relief that she’s got) that I’ve thought to create a post on this. The nasal congestion problem is so common and the technique is so simple and effective that it created a large amount of comments on the site and on other sites.
So I wanted to present some of what I’ve gathered over the web.

A natural cure for diabetes
I’m now reading the book by Kevin Trudeau Natural Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About and I began to notice some of the things he writes about in the book. For those who don’t know the book deals with the subject of medicine in US, conspiracy between pharma companies, FDA and FTC to sell you more drugs and trump the alternative medicine. This is a really thought provoking book in my opinion.
So now I come across an article in the BBC titled Chinese remedy ‘treats diabetes’. Here’s what the second heading states: “A gardenia fruit extract used in Chinese medicine for centuries to treat adult onset diabetes is effective, scientists have found.”
Well first of all, it’s not the scientists that found it but the Chinese. The scientists only verified and acknowledged this in a laboratory experiment. But what made me really wonder are these lines:

Teleportation research study document
Several days ago I've come across a document called "Teleportation Physics Study". This is a real research paper released into the public domain. The research was done by Eric Davis of Warp Drive Metrics, and funded by the US Air Force, specifically Air Force Research Laboratory (AFMC) at Edwards AFB. It was performed in 2004. The purpose of the study:
"This study was tasked with the purpose of collecting information describing the teleportation of material objects, providing a description of teleportation as it occurs in physics, its theoretical and experimental status, and a projection of potential applications. The study also consisted of a search for teleportation phenomena occurring naturally or under laboratory conditions that can be assembled into a model describing the conditions required to accomplish the transfer of objects."
The study deals with about 5 types of teleportation, from science fiction to psychokinesis (PK). Of course, i got interested with the PK teleportation, or p-Teleportation as it is called in the document.

Get rid of stuffed or running nose without drugs
Nasal congestion, stuffy nose, runny nose – these are common problems experienced by everyone, usually many times a year. We generally disregard it, if it’s on moderate levels but can get very annoyed when they are strong and require our attentions.
Yes, you could use a nasal spray to depress it for a while. But there are some problems with the sprays:
- First, they are drugs (chemicals), might have side effects and are somewhat addictive.
- Second, they cost money.
- Third, you should have it with you whenever your nose drives you mad. This might not be the case every time, since you have to buy it first, and then carry it with you whenever you go (work, for example).
When I was little, one of my grandmothers has taught my father and me a very simple point massage technique that relieves nasal congestion fast and effectively, without leaving the bitter taste in your mouth. I wanted to share it with you.
Please look at the comments below the article to read about the many successes of this technique. Write about your results in the comments as well. (comments are moderated, so give time for them to appear).
