Prahlad Jani lives without eating or drinking

Posted on Apr 29, 2006 in Research | 5 comments

A reader of an entry on the nepalese meditating boy commented on the issue of living without food or water. It is claimed that the boy, while meditating for about 9 months, did not drink, eat or go to bathroom the entire time. The commenter left a link to a BBC article about another indian man, Prahlad Jani, who is said to be living decades without eating or drinking. The thing is, this man was examined by doctors and experts to verify those claims.

Yoga and meditation help sleep better

Posted on Apr 26, 2006 in Books, Healing, Meditation, Parapsychology, Research, Silva Method | 8 comments

The Mind Power News site reports about a research in University of Texas, led by Dr. Lorenzo Cohen of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In the published report Dr. Cohen and his colleagues state that “cancer patients who participated in a Tibetan yoga course noticed improvements in their sleep patterns.“.

I haven’t done Yoga but have been performing the 5 Tibetan rites from the Peter Kelder’s book "Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth". I have found the exercises help a lot to calm the mind and therefore affect everyday activity.

Is there a cure for cold and flu?

Posted on Apr 23, 2006 in Books, Healing, Health | 8 comments

Update: – I’ve found some resources that might help with relieving cold and flu. Find them at the end of the article.

One of the thing that makes me wonder the most about the modern medicine is how it can relatively effective help with some very difficult illnesses and how advanced the medical technology has become and how it is really powerless against the 2 most common illnesses: cold and flu.

The only thing the doctor can prescribe are some chemicals to lessen the symptoms of these diseases: some paracetamol kind of pills to reduce the body heat and maybe something for a sore throat. Some nasal drops might help for a short time but they are definitely not a cure. How come that they can restore eyesight and can’t heal the running nose?

Healing mathematics

Posted on Apr 15, 2006 in Business, Energy, Healing, Research | 7 comments

Most alternative healing modalities are based either on life-force energy or some natural products, such as herbs or homeopathic medicine. Not many alternative healing modalities are based on some scientific research and technological advancement.

Here I’d like to present two interesting healing aids that are based on maths and a scientific research. One of them originates in Russia while the other is from Canada. I’ve known about the russian products for a while now but only recently came upon the canadian site and what struck is a basic similarity of the products, although I find the russian variant more advanced (and more expensive).

The two product groups are based on some private research as to how energy works and how some geometrical shapes can be used in order to modify the properties of the energy to help the people.

“The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” by Robin Sharma compared to a book by Peter Kelder

Posted on Apr 8, 2006 in Books, Energy, Exercises, Healing | Comments Off on “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” by Robin Sharma compared to a book by Peter Kelder

This is a copy of a short comparison review I’ve done on the famous Robin Sharma’s book “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari” and Peter Kelder’s “Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth”:

Several months ago I’ve read the very famous Robin Sharma’s book "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams & Reaching Your Destiny". I finished the book in one weekend… mostly because I’ve only been given the book for the weekend. Anyway, although I found it generally interesting, I didn’t find it very inspiring.

But that’s not what I wanted to write about. The thing that hit me the most was the fact that I found a lot of resemblance between this book’s story line and the story line of the book "Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth: Book 1" by Peter Kelder.

“You the healer” by Jose Silva and Robert B. Stone review

Posted on Apr 4, 2006 in Books, Business, ESP, Healing, Meditation, Parapsychology, Remote Viewing, Silva Method, Tutorials, Universal Mind | 1 comment

I’m a big fan of the Jose Silva Mind Control Method. I’ve done a course of Mind Control technique and found it to be both easy enough and helpful. In my experience I found it especially helpful in the solving of personal health problems, both of physical nature and mental. I’ve bought the book a little before I started the course, so my knowledge of Jose Silva’s technique was very limited before that time.

Jose Silva Mind Control Method and the Jose Silva Ultramind program have a long list of practical uses, ranging from various health issues and finishing with business success, going through Remote Viewing and ESP. This particular book “You the healer” deals with teaching the techniques to be used in healing, both of yourself and of anyone else.
