Energy related

There are several areas of parapsychology that are energy-related. There are also several types of energy usually defined:

Ki, Chi, Tsi - usually the same energy as described in different eastern cultures. This is the energy that flows in the meredians in the people, it is the Ki in Reiki, it's the energy that eastern martial art masters use. This is the life force.

Cosmic energy or psi - this terminology is more current and is used in modern parapsychology describing the energy coming from the cosmos. Usually used in meditations and various energy collecting and healing practices. While the source of the energy is generally unknown, presumably this is the same energy as Chi, but a modern variation. Psi energy is used to create so called psi-balls, shields etc.

Many energy healing practices consist of taking 'bad' energy out of people and transferring (channeling) clean, healthy energy into the patient's body or organs. Low energy levels in people can lead to constant fatigue and illnesses and until the energy balance is restored through some of the techniques this feeling will not pass.

Many healing techniques also pay attention to removing blocks inside the body that block the energy from flowing correctly inside the body, through the chackras or in the meridians.
